[Mew-dist 13970] Erroneous `Sender' field inserted by imput

Hi,

So far, I think Mew is wonderful, but I'm having problems trying to
send mail. Whenever I send a message with Mew, the `Sender' field is
automatically set to `mas at example.com', which makes no sense, since I don't
have nor ever have had any email address at a domain `tiny'. This
causes message delivery to fail, saying "Sender domain must exist".
It took me a while to realize that my messages weren't being sent,
however, because the error messages were not sent to me, but rather to
`mas at example.com', who doesn't exist; I had to actually inspect the mail
drop!

I've tried giving an explicit `Sender' field, but it gets overwritten.
It seems like `imput' has arguments that might help, but I haven't
been able to find any documentation for the IM programs, and anyway
Mew doesn't have a way to pass custom arguments to `imput' (analogous
to `mew-prog-imls-arg-list', perhaps). Nondelivery of a message
without even a visible error message is a serious problem; can anyone
tell me whether this has been fixed, or whether there's a problem with
my configuration? I'm using Mew 1.94.2 with Emacs 20.6.2 under Debian
GNU/Linux 2.2.

Thanks.
